We are thrilled to announce the latest product updates: AI website creator, three new templates, a new add-on, and other improvements.
SpreadSimple AI website creator
Whether you’re new to website creation or just stuck with a bit of writer’s block, the AI creator is designed to help you get started quickly and stress-free. With just a few words about what you need, the AI will generate a fully functional website in no time.
Simply describe your use case and the expected result, submit your prompt, and let AI do the rest while you watch your website come to life. Once you’re happy with the foundation, proceed to the editor to polish up your website. Replace placeholder content, upload your logo, or make design tweaks with ease. The AI creator will handle logo creation, select complementary color schemes, and populate your site with sample content—giving you the perfect starting point.
New templates
Three new templates are now available in your workspace.
Barbershop website template
Designed for barbershops and beauty parlors, this template makes it easy to showcase both your services and products. With features like stock limitation and a Calendly add-on, your customers can easily book appointments and shop products directly on your website.
Handymen services template
Using this template, you can build websites for businesses offering general repair, maintenance, and improvement services. The template showcases the expertise and range of services offered by handymen, while also making it easy for potential clients to find similar listings, get in touch, or book appointments.
Tire store template
This template features our recently added table view layout, which is ideal for businesses that need to display detailed product information in a clean and organized way. This layout is perfect for wholesale stores that prioritize showcasing specifications, prices, availability, and other product details over large images. The table view allows customers to quickly compare features and make informed purchasing decisions, making it a great choice for businesses that cater to B2B clients or sell bulk products like electronics, industrial equipment, home improvement supplies, or even bulk clothing.
Mobile navigation menu
Improve your website’s mobile user experience by adding a navigation menu at the bottom of the screen.
This feature makes it easier for users to access key sections of your site without having to scroll or navigate through multiple pages. You can customize the bottom menu with buttons that link to important features such as filters, a scroll-to-top button, a map view switcher, and a subscribe button. This will help you to ensure that essential actions are always within reach, improving both the usability and functionality of your website on mobile devices.
New integration—SureTriggers
Now you can use SureTriggers automation service with webhooks to send order data to various 3rd party services after an order is placed.
Other improvements
Updated domain settings menu
You can now easily change your domain name by going to the Settings tab and selecting Domain Settings.
In addition, if you've connected a custom domain to your site, there's a new option available for you. Simply switch on the Disallow indexing spread.name URLs toggle to prevent any of your spread.name links from being indexed by search engines. This ensures that only your custom domain URLs is indexed, avoiding any potential SEO issues caused by accidental indexing of default spread.name URLs.
Video tips in the editor
Now, whenever you’re not sure how to use a specific feature, just click the small video icon next to it. You’ll instantly get access to a short, helpful video that walks you through the setup step-by-step. Each video also includes a link to the detailed help article, so you can dive deeper if needed.
