Today we are going to introduce some big and exciting product updates.

New SpreadSimple subscription plans

Over the past six months, we conducted multiple interviews with our users and analyzed our internal data for a deeper understanding of our users’ expectations. Based on this analysis, we decided to update our subscription plans – for the first time in four years to better serve the needs of our users and to ensure the stable work of our website builder.

We want to make the key features of SpreadSimple available to users on the Free plan so they can work on their website for as long as they need before deciding to upgrade it.

We also want to offer more flexibility in subscription plans so our customers can choose between subscription plans and decide what features they want for their projects.

Before we go into details we want to point out that all the existing subscription plans will be locked at current prices for all the Pro plan users as long as they stay subscribed. The users on the Pro plan will continue to receive all the updates of the Business plan.

What is changing:

New Starter plan

For those who don't need to accept payments on their website or use add-ons. This plan includes all SEO options and other key features such as details pages, item variations, etc.

New Connect plan

With more advanced features like content access rules. This plan will include user accounts (coming soon) and is designed to cover more complex use cases.

The new name for the existing Pro plan – Business

We believe the new name will better reflect the essence of this plan. Also, the price for this plan will be increased by $1.9 per month and $11 per year.

New Bulk Offer

Often requested by our users, the Bulk Offer will allow purchasing several websites at a discount. Also, it includes a bigger number of editors in a workspace which makes it a good choice for agencies.

More features for the Free plan

Details pages, checkout, payment methods (sandbox mode), and more content pages will now be available for the Free websites.

New limits on the number of rows

Each plan will have a new limit* on the number of rows in the website source Google Sheets per website:

Free plan – 50 rows
Starter plan – 200 rows
Business plan – 5,000 rows
Connect – 10,000 rows

These limits won't have a negative effect the existing websites created before June 27th, 2024 and custom limits will be applied to those websites.

New Features

Offer your customers related products on details pages and help them discover items outside of their initial search. Specify which products to display and customize how they are arranged on the page.

E-commerce is not your use case? No problem, customize the wording and offer some related articles, similar listings, or events that may seem interesting to your visitors.

'Copy link to cart' Button

This feature allows you to create links that will redirect a customer to a cart filled with the items you selected. Just like that: https://related-items-demo.spread.name?cartItems=hoodie-blue-l,hoodie-white-s,sweatpants-grey-l

And your customers will be able to create such links for themselves and save them for later.

You can enable the Copy link to cart button in the Checkout Tab -> Cart settings.

Clickable Badges

Now badges can be clickable and work as filters if the column mapped to the badges is also mapped to the filters.

New Cards Layout: Table View

A highly requested layout for the main page is now available for your websites.

Display your items in a table and enable scrollable rows, if necessary.

Ted Podcasts, Recipe collection, and AI startups catalog are ready to use in your workspace.

TED Podcasts
